1st Team
Away v Orrell KO 2:15pm
1st are away at Orrell on Saturday with a 2.15 KO. A good performance last week saw us beat bogey team Bolton 13 - 23. On the day our dominance wasn’t really reflected in the score. We need to be more clinical and we are working on improving in this area.
Last week saw 5 of our Colts playing for our senior teams. So 6 in total for the season which is very encouraging for the future. All performed really well and we hope to see more Colts play towards the end of the season.
2nd Team
No Game
No game for the 2nd team this week. Last week we lost away at Whitchurch and we need a few wins to secure our status in the league.
3rd Team
Away v Ormskirk KO 2:15
3rds are away at Ormskirk in the league. Last week they suffered defeat to Northwich in the local derby
Sunday 20th February
Ladies
Away v Burnley KO 2pm
After a quiet few weeks in the fixtures calendar, the senior women are back on the road and hoping to bag some points at Burnley. The game kicks off at 2pm. Although there are some key players out to injury, an influx of new talent and U18s playing up means that the Winnington Park Ladies remain confident in getting a result.
U18 Girls
No Game
The U15s girls travel to Crewe for some valuable game time whilst the U13s and U18s will take the opportunity for some training time.
Colts
No Game
No game for the colts this weekend. The next league game for the colts is 27 Feb away at Manchester. We are still top of the League with 2 games remaining.
M&J teams
Little Ruggers will be available at 9am for all children in preschool and reception and really focus on fun, getting active and those early ball skills.
