Saturday 26th March
Mens 1st Team
Away v Keswick, KO 3pm
1st XV away at Keswick 3pm KO. 3rd plays 4th in the league and the result will have a big say in the final league standings for the season. Although we beat Keswick at home earlier in the season we know they had a number of players missing and were not at full strength. We expect a really tough encounter in the return match.
Mens 2nd Team
Away v Leek, KO 3pm
2nds are away at top of the table Leek who beat us comfortably earlier this season. The 2nd team is struggling with injuries and unavailability so this will be a tough game. Last time out we beat Heaton Moor and we will need a similar performance this week.
Mens 3rd Team
Home v Waterloo, KO 3pm
3rds are at Home to Waterloo. We lost to Waterloo last weekend and play them again this week. Hopefully a better outcome this time.
Sunday 27th March
Ladies 1st Team
No Game
The Senior Women have a well deserved weekend off this Sunday (Mother’s Day too!). Last week, although the score line didn’t show them as winners, the performances, especially from our new starters said differently. With so many team members new to rugby this season, this year was always going to be a tough ask. However, the speed at which our newbies have developed is great to see. We have two more games left in the league, with our next fixture on 10 April taking us away to the Lake District and then a final Hurrah away to Burnley. .
U18 Girls
No Game
We had fantastic County representation from our U18 Girls last Sunday in their first inter-County game against Yorkshire. Reports from those their said that all our girls acquitted themselves admirably. They too have a weekend off this Sunday to rest niggles and let bruises heal before getting back at it in the remaining weeks of the season.
Colts
Away v Caldy, 3pm KO
Our magnificent colts play Caldy away in the Cheshire Cup semi final. 2pm KO. Last week they beat Lymm in the League cup quarter final. The lads will appreciate any support so make the trip to Caldy for what could be a memorable game. Good luck lads
M&J teams
Little Ruggers will be available at 9am for all children in preschool and reception and really focus on fun, getting active and those early ball skills.
