Saturday 5th March
Back to 3pm Kicks on Saturday.
1st Team
Away v Cockermouth, 3pm KO
The 1st are away at Cockermouth on Saturday. It seems a long time since our last game and hopefully the break will have not damaged our good form going into this game. We beat a severely depleted Cockermouth side earlier in the season and they have a good home record so as always we expect a really tough game. To keep our ambition of staying in the top 3 of the league we need a win and to do that we need a very good performance. Recent form suggests we are capable but history also provides examples where we have lost games when we have been below par. 3pm KO

3rd Team
Home v Christleton, 3pm KO
3rd team are at home to table topping Christleton. They beat us earlier in the season so we are hoping home advantage will make a difference. Those that can’t make it up to Cumbria get down and support the 3rds.
Sunday 6th March
Ladies
Away v Bury, 2pm KO
The Senior Women travel to Bury for our latest league fixture. Following a series of weather related cancellations we are looking forward to our first run out in a while and looking to bring a few more of our talented U18s girls into the senior game.

Colts
No Game
Sadly no Colts game on Sunday. Our opposition have requested that the fixture is re-arranged. A big shame as this was the last league game of the season. Last weekend we beat Manchester 5-9 in a tight game but one we deserved to win. This clinched the Colts League B title which is a fantastic achievement. They won the League C preliminary league earlier in the season as well. Fantastic stuff and they are the first colts side to win a colts League since 2010. Let’s hope with the M&J section going from strength to strength we get many more.
The lads remain unbeaten in the league and to have the final league game at home would allow family and friends to celebrate their achievement. Hopefully the game will be rearranged. The colts still have a Cheshire Cup semi final ahead of them and a League cup campaign so a chance of more silverware ahead of them. Congratulations Lads.
M&J teams
Little Ruggers will be available at 9am for all children in preschool and reception and really focus on fun, getting active and those early ball skills.
This Sunday our U11’s team play host to the U11 Cheshire Rugby Festival.
We will them luck, it should be a great event. As such all M&J games are away this Sunday.
