Syd Bowden

It’s with great sadness that the club have to announce the passing of Syd Bowden. Syd passed away last night in hospital after a short illness.

Syd was one of the very few people in the rugby club who had held the position of both Chairman and President. Syd was also one of our few Honorary Life Vice Presidents which he received in recognition for his many years of support and dedication to the club both during and after his playing career.

He will be greatly missed and I’m sure you will join with me in sending our sincere condolences to Win.

Details of his funeral are not yet available but as soon as I have more information I will let you know.
