Respect the officials please

Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship

Because of recent incidents, in matches at both Senior and Mini/Junior level, the club has been brought before the RFU disciplinary committee. We have received complaints on several occasions regarding the behaviours of the players, officials, and supporters. This has been abuse towards match officials, opposition players and supporters watching the games. These may have been borne out of frustration or as a reaction to incidents on the field of play but it is no excuse and is not acceptable behaviour. As a club we must adhere to the RFU’s Core Values of: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

Due to these incidents and our poor disciplinary record are at risk of further sanction from Cheshire RFU. These sanctions can include a financial penalty, deduction of league points or relegation, exclusion or disqualification from any competition, or a combination of these.

We ask all players ,supporters and club officials at all levels to be mindful of this. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and family orientated club.

Please do not tarnish the reputation of our great club by unsporting and inappropriate behaviour.
