It is with great sadness that we share the news that Will Glendinning, tragically passed away at the age of 18, on Friday 23rd September 2022.
Will represented Winnington throughout our Junior section and would have been part of the current Colts side, but for moving to Uppingham School in 2021.
An extremely talented young man, Will excelled at rugby, was a gifted pianist and a keen actor. A genuinely happy and charismatic person, he was a pleasure to be around and will be sorely missed by the many that knew and loved him.
On behalf of everyone at Winnington Park, we offer our deepest condolences to the Glendinning family. Whilst there are no words that can help numb the pain you are feeling, we hope you can take some comfort in knowing that this club, this community, this family, are here to support you through the tough times ahead.
We will be observing a minute silence before each game this weekend in memory of Will.
