In Loving Memory of Brian Welch



It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Brian Welch.

Brian was an Honorary Life President at Winnington Park, and was a big part of our rugby club until he relocated to the Isle of Man six years ago.

Over the years, Brian put so much of his time and effort into improving the condition of the pitches and grounds at Burrows Hill -- winning a number of awards for his work, both from the RFU and Cheshire.

Brian also coached a number of age groups, and was very proud to see his three sons play for our 1st XV.

Our thoughts go out to his family at this sad time, especially his four children: Fiona, Philip, Neil, and Eoin.

The funeral will take place in the Isle of Man.
