It is with great sadness that the rugby club has to announce the passing of stalwart club member Fred Blenkinsop.

He passed away last Sunday at The Countess of Chester Hospital.

Fred was a supporter of Winnington Park RFC for many years, with both his son’s Nigel and Conrad being regular members of the Wprfc 1st team.

Fred was one of life’s characters and will be sadly missed by all.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all Fred’s family at this sad time.

For those that wish to attend, his funeral will be held at Vale Royal Crematorium, Shurlach Lane, Davenham, CW9 8RP, on Thursday 19th Sept. at 10.00am.
