Good evening Following my note on the 3rd June and subsequent various Committee meetings, I would like to communicate the next steps we have agreed on with regards to opening up the Club. For the last 5 days we have engaged with various health agencies, government advisory departments and the Cheshire and English RFU. We have been required to provide data and information around the Covid outbreak at the Club and have been provided with extensive guidance on how we move forward. To that end, and following a professional deep clean and sanitisation of the Clubhouse, we will be opening the grounds, café and a return to training from Sunday morning the 13th June. This now means that the Volunteers Weekend is postponed - we will release another date once we have a better understanding on restrictions. We will not be opening upstairs just yet however we are pleased by the fact we can at least return to some form of physical activity. We will update you more once we understand the Governments intentions regarding the planned general lifting of restrictions on the 21st June and until then we will remain open albeit it just downstairs.
