Captain Shaun Underdown Steals the Show!
Park having lost the last two games needed a big win and it came from an inspiring game from Captain Shaun Underdown.
Park started well and the first points came from a penalty kick to Park for an Orrell player being judged offside. The kick was converted by Cameron Flanagan.
Park were penalised for sealing the ball from play ten metres from there try line. Orrell passed the ball along the backs to score the first try of the game and kicking the conversion.
Park responded within minutes being awarded a penalty try from some fast thinking from scrum half James Johnson who took a quick tap penalty 10 metres from the Orrell try line he was tackled by a player who was not ten metres back and given a yellow card putting the score at 10 to 7.
Orrell came straight back at Park and were awarded a penalty for a Park player going into a maul without being on his feet. the kick was converted.
Ross Morrin the 18 year old prop forward was replaced by Matt Sant due to a blood injury and shortly after was on the score board with the ball going down the line to the wing the forwards gathered in support and drove over the line in the corner. The kick was missed leaving the half time score at 15 to 10.
Park started the second half well and with a great break from Mike Eaves playing at hooker passed to Shaun Underdown in support sprinted 20 metres with two players hanging off him to touch down for his first try. The kick was converted by Cam Flanagan.
Within minutes he was back on the score sheet with a further try in the corner after a great kick from fly half Cam Flanagan into the corner 10 metres from Orrell's try line. Park won the line out and the forwards drove over the line. The conversion was missed.
Park continued to pile on the pressure and were awarded a penalty after a high tackle the ball was set up again by the forwards driving forward as one unit for Shaun Underdown to emerge from under the mass of bodies as the try scorer. The conversion was kicked by Cam Flanagan.
Parks sixth try came from further pressure by the Parks forwards for Alex Glendinning to break from the back run along the wing to score in the corner.
A great conversion kick from the wing was completed by Cameron Flanagan.
Park let there guard down in the last couple of minutes for Orrell to score another try to end the game 41 to 17.
Parks Manager Matt Farr can take away a positive display from a team which has had several changes due to injuries but all played well in particular the forwards who worked as a unit inspired by the Captain Shaun Underdown.

Park have a rest from the league next week and play a cup game against local derby rivals Northwich who play two leagues above them.
The fixture should see a great crowd at Burrows Hill for a 2:15pm KO.
